Pakistan’s chief selector Haroon Rashid said Wahab, who had a fracture on his knuckle, had not been ruled out of the entire series. “It is hoped that he recovers well in time to be available for the last two ODIs, and if he is declared fit by the medical panel, the selection committee might consider sending him over depending on the situation of the series after consulting the team management.”Mukhtar, 22, made his Twenty20 international debut in Bangladesh and has 183 runs in three innings, including two consecutive half-centuries against Zimbabwe. “Mukhtar Ahmed has shown tremendous improvement during this period and performed well at international level in T20 format,” Rashid said. “Selection committee feels that it is the right time to assess his potential in the one-day format by giving him an opportunity.”Asif, 29, has played only 11 first-class matches and 21 List A games for Sialkot. Australia have not given up hope of captain Michael Clarke leading them at the World Cup after positive reports from the surgeon who operated on his injured hamstring this week.Clarke suffered a serious injury to the tendon component of his right hamstring on the final day of the Adelaide Test and had surgery on Tuesday, and recovery from such an operation can take months. It is still possible that the Test tour of the West Indies in June might be Clarke’s next chance to play international cricket, but the World Cup has not been ruled out.”Our aim is for him to play in the World Cup,” team physio Alex Kountouris said. “That’ll be the goal. He’s had the surgery and he’s going to do the rehab with that intent but we’ll only know that in the coming weeks when we know how he’s recovering and progressing through the rehab.”The rehab is dependent on how he progresses from each stage. There’s different goals and one day post-injury there’s no magic number that ends the rehab. He’ll just have to progress through each stage. Initially it’s going to be nice and easy. Then he’ll start jogging and if he copes with that, he’ll be running faster and he’ll start doing strength work. Clarke has had trouble with his left hamstring over the past few months but it was his right that forced him from the field in Adelaide. Kountouris said that surgery was decided upon in order to reduce the risk of the injury returning in the future.”Over the last 10 years it’s become apparent the tendons when they become injured, they don’t heal as well and are prone to reccurrence,” he said. “We explored with the surgeon and radiologist, and decided this was the best course of action.”Speaking to the surgeon, everything went really well. He found what he expected to find and there were no surprises. He managed to do a good repair and he’s confident Michael is going to make a good recovery. It’s going to heal and it’s going to minimise risk of reoccurrence, and that’s the goal.”In the immediate aftermath of suffering the injury, Clarke admitted that he might have played for Australia for the last time and he might need to consider his cricket future. However, deciding on surgery was a clear indication that he retained the desire to come back and play for Australia again.Clarke’s injury forced the selectors to consider who would captain the side in the Brisbane Test and they decided on Steven Smith, which indicated a forward-thinking approach. Daniel Brettig09-Nov-2014Aaron Finch learned an important lesson in captaincy over the course of Australia’s Twenty20 series victory over South Africa – the best combination for the team may not always coincide with the wishes of his team-mates.In a candid admission, Finch has said that he miscalculated at the start of the three-match series by choosing Cameron White at the top of the order – as was his fellow Victorian’s preference after a productive year as a T20 opener – thus leaving Ben Dunk and Nathan Reardon as a nervous middle-order duo.Their rapid dismissals in Adelaide were a major reason for the hosts’ heavy opening loss, and Finch conceded that he and the interim coach Trevor Bayliss re-thought the team’s strategy before Melbourne. White was demoted to the middle order and came through in Sydney with a cool innings, built on his vast experience in the format.”When we looked down the list in the first game, to have two debutants, and two left-handers as well, batting four and five probably wasn’t ideal,” Finch said. “It was probably something we didn’t spend enough time thinking about in the lead-up to the first game, probably took for granted in international cricket. Bangladesh fast bowler Al-Amin Hossain was fined 15% of his match fee, for giving David Warner a send-off after dismissing him. He was found to be in breach of article 2.1.4 of the ICC code of conduct, which relates to “using language or a gesture that is obscene, offensive or insulting during an international match”.

If the destructive power brought to bear by Aaron Finch and David Warner allowed Australia to evade the ignominy of their worst-ever global tournament display, then it also underlined why the sometime favourites will fly home with an especially bitter memory of the 2014 World Twenty20.Finch and Warner alone possess enough pyrotechnics to dominate a match – as Bangladesh discovered in a chase that consigned the hosts to the ignominy of failing to win a single fixture in the main draw. So for the Australians to be leaving the tournament at such an early stage will be the cause of some introspection by the captain George Bailey, the coach Darren Lehmann and the selectors. To avoid going home without winning any of four games was the most modest of rewards.It remains to be seen whether Bailey will continue as the specialist T20 captain, having guided Australia through two tournament campaigns for diminishing returns. He ended Australia’s tournament with a hollow-feeling six as Finch and Warner swung lustily but intelligently, but looked nonplussed at times in the field as Bangladesh wriggled to a higher total than a more ruthless and balanced Australian combination might have conceded.Smart Stats

Shakib Al Hasan’s 66 in this match was the first fifty by a Bangladesh batsman in this World T20 and the third-highest individual score for Bangladesh in any World T20. The highest also belongs to Shakib – a 54-ball 84 against Pakistan in the last World T20.

Shakib, with 752 runs at 22.78, is now the top run scorer for Bangladesh in T20Is. Shakib and Tamim Iqbal were the joint-top run scorers for Bangladesh before this match, both having scored 686 runs from 35 innings.

The 112-run partnership between Shakib and Mushfiqur Rahim is the highest for Bangladesh in the World T20 for any wicket and only the fourth hundred partnership in T20Is by a Bangladesh pair. Tamim and Mahmudullah added an unbeaten 132 runs for the second wicket against West Indies in a T20I in 2012, which is their highest partnership.

Aaron Finch’s 45-ball 71 is his fifth fifty in T20Is and Australia’s second-highest score in this World T20. He fell just three runs short of Glenn Maxwell’s 74 against Pakistan, which is their highest in this World T20.

Australia’s openers added 98 runs – their second-highest partnership in this World T20. The 118-run partnership between Finch and Maxwell against Pakistan is their highest.

Shakib gave away 36 runs from his three overs in this match. His economy of 12.0 in this match is his worst in T20Is. Shakib’s economy in this match equalled the second-worst by a Bangladesh spinner to have bowled three or more overs in a T20I.

Equally glum were Brad Hodge and Brad Hogg, the two most venerable members of Australia’s squad, left out for the final match and unlikely to figure in future assignments. Both Hodge and Hogg might have been utilised differently in the team, something that Shane Warne certainly felt preferable, suggesting on commentary that the former could have been used at No. 3 throughout.Shakib Al Hasan and Mushfiqur Rahim had prospered through the middle overs against a fairly monotone collection of medium pace and above, while Glenn Maxwell’s spin was not in the class of that in the armoury of Hogg and James Muirhead, also left out of this match, or numerous others sitting at home, including the Test spinner Nathan Lyon.The omission of both specialist spin bowlers chosen for the tournament seemed a kind of concession that Australia’s slow bowling plans had been awry, with the use of five seamers a rare curiosity in a tournament where all the most accomplished teams have relied on quality exhibitions of flight, dip and turn. Both he and Finch sat on the back foot to the spinners and capitalised on any shortness of length, before climbing out to swing sixes when the bowlers tried to compensate.By the time Sohag Gazi coaxed a thick edge behind from Finch the match was well on the way to being over. Kumar Dharmasena did not see the deflection and shook his head, leading to a sequence of verbal conflict between Warner and Mushfiqur. Warner’s departure the following over drew a send-off from Al-Amin Hossain, but like Australia’s eventual victory, it was sound and fury signifying nothing.

Por sua vez, existe a certeza de que o lateral-direito Alex Silva volta ao time. Ele não atuou frente ao Atlético-MG pois os seus direitos pertencem ao Galo e havia um acordo prévio entre ambos.

Do lado gremista, o número de desfalques já certos também é de três peças: O zagueiro Kannemann além do meio-campista Maicon e do meia-atacante Alisson.

وبحسب الصحيفة أن نادي باوك اليوناني أبدى رغبة قوية في التعاقد مع ساماتا، وقدم فناربخشة هذا العرض للنادي اليوناني في انتظار الرد في الأيام المقبلة.
