Jurgen Klopp has been tipped to ‘take a break’ from management at the end of his current Liverpool contract by journalist Paul Gorst.

Klopp last extended his deal back in December 2019, committing to the Reds until the end of 2023/24 season (via Liverpoolfc.com).

Should he see out that term, he will have been in the Anfield dugout for a period of nine years, which Gorst describes as an ‘eternity’ by ‘modern standards’.

Recapping Klopp’s success at Anfield

The German took over from Brendan Rodgers in October 2015 and led the Reds to the Europa League final in his first season.

He then took them back into the Champions League, and they made it to the showpiece at their first attempt. Real Madrid would run out 3-1 victors in Kiev, but Klopp’s side made amends by beating Tottenham Hotspur 2-0 12 months later to secure their sixth continental crown.

A first league title for 30 years followed in 2019/20, and last season he navigated an unparalleled succession of injuries en route to a third-place finish.

Palace’s clash at home to Tottenham Hotspur has been moved forward from a 3pm kick-off to a 12:30 kick-off on Saturday, September 11.

Meanwhile, the rivalry meeting with Brighton & Hove Albion will now take place on Monday, September 27 after initially being scheduled for Saturday, September 25.

The clash at the Amex will now kick off at 8pm and will be available to watch on Sky Sports, while BT Sport have the rights for the meeting with Spurs.

Sunderland fans are delighted after it was confirmed by the club that George Dobson has departed the Stadium of Light by mutual consent.

The Black Cats are preparing for an assault on promotion after narrowly missing out last term. So far, though, they have not made a single signing, with plenty of players instead departing such as Josh Scowen, Max Power and Grant Leadbitter (The Northern Echo).

Charlie Wyke, meanwhile, looks to be on the verge of a move to Celtic (Football Insider).

Now, Dobson has also departed (safc.com). Signed in 2019 from Walsall, the midfielder made 47 appearances for the club but spent last term on loan at Wimbledon (Transfermarkt). It hasn’t taken him long to find a new club, though – he has joined Sunderland’s League One promotion rivals Charlton Athletic.

The news was shared on Twitter by Sunderland’s official account, and it attracted plenty of attention from the supporters. They took to the social media platform to share their thoughts.

Após as críticas de Rogério Micale, campeão olímpico com a Seleção no ano passado, o técnico Tite evitou polêmica e disse que irá se pronunciar sobre o assunto em outro momento.

Em entrevista ao LANCE!, Micale afirmou que Tite e o coordenador de seleções, Edu Gaspar, “surfaram na onda da Olimpíada” e apontou falta de transparência da dupla. O medalhista de ouro foi demitido no mês passado, após desempenho ruim da Seleção Sub-20 no Sul-Americano, no qual não conquistou nem mesmo vaga para o Mundialda categoria.

-Eu tenho um respeito muito grande pelo Micale. E tenho também que ter responsabilidade e foco muito grande de estar prestando o serviço à Seleção. Fique tranquilo que terá o momento oportuno para conversarmos a respeito. E a essência desse momento é a convocação e a busca pela classificação para a Copa-2018. No momento oportuno ela vai ocorrer – afirmou Tite, durante convocação para as partidas contra Uruguai e Paraguai, pelas Eliminatórias.

Micale se queixa de não ter sequer recebido um telefone de Tite após a demissão da CBF.

وأصر توخيل على أن فريقه يركز بشدة على الفوز، حيث قال: “دائمًا الوقت المناسب للفوز، لا يهم إذا فزت بالمباراة الأخيرة أو آخر مباراتين ضد نفس الخصم”.

وتابع: “دائمًا ما تركز على الفوز في المباراة التالية، إنه يظهر فقط أنه ليس بالأمر السهل، هذا النوع من الأمور موجود في كرة القدم”.
